Destiny Calls

Destiny calls is the youth group for Young Adults aged 15-18 years. In destiny calls we learn about God in a comfortable friendly atmosphere. We meet as a group every fortnight with our youth leaders Phil and Sandra Bolton and Luke Kingsmill. On occasion we go on socials and trips away such as meals and weekend trips.

 

Our vision statement is

 

 

Colossians 1v 15-18

 

‘We look at this son and see the God that cannot be seen. We look at this son and see God’s original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels- everything got started in him and finds it’s purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. And when it comes to the church, he organises and holds it together like a head does a body.’

 

 

As members of Destiny Calls we recognise this fact and aim to follow god’s original purpose for us to grow in our faith and as we grow into adulthood be open to God’s instructions for our lives to serve both God and our community.
