Our Mission
Our mission statement comes from the end of Luke 1:17 – ‘to prepare a people for the Lord’.  We believe this is a call to encourage people within the church to develop in their relationship with Jesus and a call to those outside the church to begin a relationship with Jesus, we are then all prepared for the day when either He will return to earth, or we will join Him in heaven.
Our Aims
We believe the Lord has called us to aim to be:- 1) a worshipping people, 2) a prophetic people, 3) a proclaiming people, 4) a family people.
a Prophetic People
Early in the life of the Fellowship we felt that the Lord emphasised to us 4 ‘stepping stones’ which We seek to operate ‘in the spirit and power of Elijah’ by being a prophetic people (i.e. those ready & willing to hear Gods word and speak it wherever we are sent).
We believe that as we draw close to God in worship we will receive His word for people and situations today which we will be asked to communicate to those around.
a Proclaiming People
We believe that God has called us to proclaim to those around us what we have received from Him.  This includes the Good News of salvation through Jesus as well as words of prophecy, words of knowledge or words of testimony.
We proclaim not just with our words but through the way that we live our lives day by day.
a Family People
We believe the Lord has called us to be a family people.  This has two aspects:-

1. To encourage and develop the ‘family of God’ which is the church, through our love, care, support and encouragement of one another.  We want people to recognise that we are followers of Jesus because of the love that we show to one another.  (John 13:35)
Our Mission and Aims

a Worshipping People

As a worshipping people we seek to draw close to God, giving Him the praise and honour due His name.  We believe that spending time in the presence of God through worship is critical, both for our own relationship with the Lord, and in order to receive from Him for ourselves and for the community around us.

2. To encourage and support the ‘nuclear family’  including support for parents and children, support for marriages and support for men and women to understand the distinctives of their gender while appreciating the power of men and women working together in harmony.
