As Christians we believe that Jesus can and does heal today.

In His love and Grace God reaches out to us and offers healing to those who will come to Him.

We believe that God has called us to provide an opportunity for people to receive Christian prayer for healing,

How does Freshwaters pray for the sick?

We are happy to pray for the sick at any of our meetings. If there is not a specific invitation to receive prayer then we are always happy for people to ask.

We are also happy to pray for people in their homes, just e-mail or contact us by phone or letter (click here for contact details) and we will arrange to visit you.

This is Freshwaters youth movement for 11-16 year olds. (School years 7-11) Our aim is in line with the Freshwaters vision to train and equip young people so they can grow in there relationship with God and know how to serve him.

In Bravehearts we have a five year programme and young people can join at any point during it.

The program encourages young people to live a radical life for God including areas such as helping young people to discover Gods vision and plan for their lives; sharing the gospel to the community around them; learning how to take responsibility in many different areas.

The 5 year programme finishes in two back to back weekends. The first week end represents the child going out from the church community family on a journey to seek vision for adulthood. The second week end is the returning journey back to the church after having searched and found vision from God. They are welcomed back and recognised as responsible and yet radical young adults. These weekends are very important stopping places to recognise what God has done and will provide a memory stone and reference for the future.

When young people leave Bravehearts, they will continue to be trained equipped in their relationship with God and to serve on to the 16+ movement for young adults.
